It is my firm belief that we should appreciate every stage of our lives. Without a doubt, this is one of the best ways to enjoy life to the fullest. We must enjoy the here and now. This is also the key to

There are several harbingers that tell us that the birth is not long in coming. One is widening the cervix by three to four centimeters, and another is making it more than 50% shorter.

Another sign that labor is imminent is that every ten minutes

But even before there are already signs of earlier delivery on arrival is. In this earlier phase you will have irregular contractions that hurt little or no pain at all.

The duration of this phase can vary from a few hours to several days. Rest can help alleviate these.

If you experience the following signs of labor, it’s time to go to the hospital:

  • Increasing regular uterine contractions that are intense and occur at least every five minutes for a period of at least an hour. These contractions will not go away, even if you rest.
  • When a pregnant woman’s waters break, it feels like she’s urinated by accident. If this happens, you’ll need to go to the hospital, even if you’re not having contractions.

If your waters have ruptured, it is very important to pay attention to the amount and characteristics of the released fluid.  It should normally be transparent, like water.

If the liquid is greenish in color, it could be a sign that there is a problem with the health of the fetus. In that case, go to the hospital immediately.

  • Bloodstains

You may have a small amount of blood in your vaginal discharge.   This is very light colored, lighter than when you are menstruating, and is normal. So you don’t have to worry about this.

However, if you are bleeding as if you are menstruating, or even more, go to the hospital right away.

You have to go through several stages before you can see and hold your baby  . Before you can feed him and you can look at and admire the face extensively.

Before the big day arrives, you need to prepare. Today, most maternity wards take into account the wishes of the parents regarding the delivery.

Some medical centers can help you create some sort of “birth plan”. This is a document that you can prepare in advance and that contains information about the type of medical care you wish to receive as a mother.

In general, even if you haven’t been given a chance to create a birth plan, the doctors and nurses caring for you during your birth should provide you with all the information you need.

They will tell you what the regular hospital procedures are and what is possible.

The miraculous phases of birth

I will now tell you a little more about the different stages of birth in a natural way.

This description is based on a documentary prepared and published by the Spanish Association of Pediatrics, which offers advice and explanations in a practical guide for parents.

The phase of unlocking

Early contractions are often the first sign that your baby’s birth is about to begin, but actually the first stage of birth is dilation.

This can take up to 10 hours in a woman who has given birth before. . For women having their first child, this phase can last as long as about 15 hours.

Dilation is generally the longest lasting phase of labor. Both the mother and the baby undergo a number of changes that prepare them for a prosperous birth.

Once this phase has started, the process of labor does not normally stop,

You will feel regular, intense contractions, which are usually painful and will not go away even if you rest for a while.  You can have between two and four or even five contractions every ten minutes.

Different steps follow during the dilation, depending on the frequency of the contractions.

The stage of giving birth

Once you are fully dilated, i.e. up to 10 cm, the next stage is birth. This is the last stage of labor and it ends when the baby is born.

Features of the birth or delivery:

  • The duration:   In mothers giving birth for the first time, the birth can take about two hours. For women who have had children before, it is usually about an hour.

However, keep in mind that

  • The contractions are regular and become more intense, although the frequency may decrease.
  • You get the urge to squeeze.

You will feel a sense of pressure on your vaginal and rectal area, giving you the urge to push.

This can be a sign that the dilation is complete and that the baby’s head has descended into the birth canal.

If you’ve had an epidural, you may not feel it or feel it to a much lesser degree. You now have to push with every contraction you feel.

But it may also be the case that you have to squeeze in a dosed manner. If so, the doctor will tell you when and how hard to push.

After a few minutes you will have your baby in your arms.  The next phase is now beginning: the
